Mes fotografuojame viską: artimus ir mylimus žmones, savo gyvenimo aplinką, šventes ir įvykius, kelionių vaizdus.

Mes, pasaulio fotografijos mėgėjai ir profesionalai, per dieną padarome milijonus įvairiausių ir įdomiausių fotonuotraukų; jas įsikeliame į kompiuterių atmintį, siunčiame į Internetines svetaines ir fotografijos žurnalus, spausdiname nuotraukas ir dedame į šeimyninius albumus arba įsirėminę kabiname namuose, ofise ar parodų salėse.

Kaip dažnai mes atsukame objektyvą į save?

Kaip dažnai mes rengiame fotosesijas, kad įamžintume save, fotoaparatų šešėlyje tūnančius nuostabių fotonuotraukų autorius? Remdamasis savo daugiamete fotografine patirtimi atsakysiu – retai, labai retai.

Mieli kūrybinės fotografijos entuziastai, ar bandėte įamžinti save nuotaikingai, linksmai (ar net visai kvailokai)? Ar bandėte šias nuotraukas nusiųsti daugybės žmonių peržiūrai?

Photographers’ association “Palangos fotoklubas 750”

We shoot anybody and anything – our close relatives we love so dearly, our daily life, celebration events, vacation memories. Anything!

Being lovers of world photography – professionals and armatures including – we make millions of fascinating pictures daily, share them online, publish them in photography magazines, print them, make family albums, frame the pictures for hanging on walls of our homes, offices, and exhibition halls.

But when do we point the lens at ourselves? How often do we make photo shoots in order to frame the authors of fabulous images hiding between the cameras? Thinking back over the long experience as a photographer, I must answer, “Rarely, very rarely.”

Dear enthusiasts of art photography, have you ever tried capturing your own face – your whole body, for that matter? Can you imagine yourself on paper or the computer screen being playful, joyous, or perhaps a little stupid (in a funny way)? Would you dare to show these pics to many people?

Strangely enough, millions of people in the world would answer with a strong YES! How about you? If the answer is affirmative, the invitation is yours!

1st INTERNATIONAL CRAZY FACE PHOTO PALANGA 2008

The results will be on display in the evening of December 6, 2008 as we turn on the Christmas lights in Palanga town square.

Pictures glowing with most emotion will be beamed to the big screen. The winner of the best CRAZY FACE PHOTO PALANGA 2008 will be presented with the GRAND PRIX, a mini statue of the “Dreaming Muse.”
